hey, there

If you’re here for my resume or curious about the nitty-gritty of my work, you’ve come to the right place. Feel free to drop me a note while you’re at it.

I also go by Liv. Unless you’re my doctor, who calls me by my full name like I’m in trouble (even though I quit smoking years ago). Or my dad, who called me Buka (“buck-uh”) for no other than I “looked like a Buka” when I came out (?).

I grew up in a small town in downstate New York, moved to the city for college and stayed for over a decade before I got up the nerve to leave.

I’ve worked in entertainment, in some form or another, since my junior year of college and still love it for some reason. Truly. Like, with all my soul.

When I’m not working, I like to play video games intended for children, make playlists for characters I make up, and bitch about the Yankees bullpen. I’m a dog mother to the most exquisite little weirdo I’ve ever known, a fervent crossword-er, shower singer, and one of those plant people. (They all have names. Even the ugly ones).

A few caveats if you’re looking to work together:

I join projects based on my current freelancing schedule (inquire within!).
I’m a completist who thrives in the trenches — pull me out of the creative process and I’m like Gizmo at midnight.
I love to figure out the STORY of what we’re trying to make, sell, market—it’s a puzzle that makes my brain work at its best.
Favorite topics of discussion: Kid Cudi, The Leftovers, Survivor, three-star mystery novels, gnocchi.

Feel free to poke around in the meantime (and happy you’re here!)
Liv
